On the 28 of November 2017 Danish NGOs searching for cooperation with Russia and Nordic countries are invited to take part in the workshop. The workshop is aimed at presentation of the project “Russian and Nordic NGOs building bridges” (BRIDGES), existing opportunities for NGOs international cooperation and creation of the online NGOs platform and database www.ngobridges.com
On the 28 of September 2017 the cooperation workshop was organized in Pskov within the international project “Russian and Nordic NGOs building bridges” (“BRIDGES”). The project has been being implemented since spring 2017 in Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Pskov and Arkhangelsk region.
On the 4th of September 2017 within the regional seminar “Perspectives of development of NGOs sector in Arkhangelsk region” there was held an international section about the international project “Russian and Nordic NGOs building bridges” (“BRIDGES”) in Arkhangelsk, Pskov regions and Nordic countries. The leader of the section was Arkhangelsk Centre of social technologies “Garant”.
The Nordic Council of Ministers’ most important criterion for granting project funding is that the projects must benefit the Nordic countries and the adjacent areas. The projects must generate Nordic synergy. Some 500 projects and activities are launched and run per annum.
Kolarctic CBC 2014-2020 is a financing programme for supporting cooperation between the countries in the North Calotte (Finland, Sweden, Norway) and northwest Russia. It is one of several EU programmes supporting cross-border cooperation across the EU external borders. The Programme offers EU funding and National financing to projects that are in line with the Programme’s strategy.
